Hot in the City! Margot Osteria is a refreshing modern take on a traditional Italian Osteria, fusing traditional Nonna-level wholesome recipes with the finest produce in contemporary style and impeccable service.
Our team were tasked to reinvigorate an existing space at 10 Barrack St, Sydney which had fantastic bones, but needed more heart to communicate the brand story in the competitive bustling heart of the City.
Armed with gorgeous branding and graphic language from Matilda Wilson Creative, Swerve Design in collaboration with Design Clarity brought colour, warmth, and love to the space alongside practical improvements for generating additional sales.
An extremely restricted budget tested the creative solutions which were achieved with paint, simple steel-framed joinery, LED lighting, one retro bike on sale, and a lot of googling to find evocative posters.
Artwork sourced by the client occupies centre court and will be changed with the seasons to keep the space fresh and evolving with the menu.
